Why give him a modern haircut in both pics?
Exactly! It was so stupid when they had Bible characters with their hair obviously in rollers the night before in the '60s, feathered in the '70s and permed in the '80s. 😅
the theme of feeding many through the hands of a few was discussed at a recent clam, and it was based on a wt article from 5 years ago.
for some reason though they changed the picture that goes with it.
usually people are erased from pictures when they defect, but this doesn't look too different, just like they made him have more delicate features.. .

i was wondering what is the most interesting or the strangest fact you've found out since leaving the jws about:.
the bible.
god .
That the New Testament never even mentions an earthly hope, and all Christians go to heaven.
That the early Christians never preached door to door.
That none of JWs proof texts relate to blood transfusions.
That the last days mentioned in the New Testament are ALL about Jerusalem, not our time.
That most all beliefs unique to JWs are unique among every Christian denomination for a reason: they're easily debunked theological hogwash.
she insisted on reading it to me and i just couldn't keep my freaking mouth shut.. see if you can tell why.... sunday, february 18.
they would go where the spirit inclined them to go.—ezek.
jesus has appointed the ‘faithful slave’ to be the only channel for dispensing spiritual food.
Did she wear a head covering while reading the daily text to you?
i have been wanting to write a book for kids who grow up in the borg or near the borg.
it would be non offensive and factual.
i am putting the chapters together.
All good ideas, but it would likely never reach the intended audience. Better yet, adapt all these topics into a short video series on YouTube with JW related keywords aimed at young people, and with somewhat innocuous titles and thumbnails.
i'm looking for something to read.
i'm interested in ecclesiastical settings like churches and gothic cities.
but the most important thing i look for is the inner thoughts and evolution of the main character: his/her feelings of guilt, regular visits to the confessor, self-comfort drawn from faith, praying god/saints, relapses and self-loathing as well as his/her process of "waking up".. i know it's something very particular and there's a lot of junk literature about the topic with poor writing and archetype characters, but if you have read anything of good quality, i would be very glad to know.. thank you in advance..
the Star Wars: Servants of the Empire series
i have an uneasy feeling inside that something is coming this year or the next.
perhaps a new big announcement that turns jwdom on it's head.. we've seen the statement in the watchtower november 15th, 2013 which said:.
watchtower november 15th, 2013 - page 20, paragraph 17.. .
As I've said before, the latest message in publications and videos has been a lot of 'see what the kingdom is doing NOW!' so more emphasis on better life now, less on when if ever the end is coming (although that will probably stay a selling point).
I'm not sure I get which angle you're coming from. It says:
"So the sun stood still and the moon did not move until the nation could take vengeance on its enemies. Is it not written in the book of Jaʹshar? The sun stood still in the middle of the sky and did not hasten to set for about a whole day."
i happen to be one of very few people who know of this condition that the man has.
he had an accident several years ago with some power equipment.
leviticus 21:20 commands that no man present the bread at the temple with damaged testicles... so?.
Sooo . . . Christians aren't under the Mosaic Law, so it doesn't matter.
I'll admit the title grabbed my attention though, props for that.
last year i was at the memorial and the speaker was saying something about how the phrase born again was actually a mistake and it should say born from above.
jesus was actually referring to those with a heavenly hope.
last night i was flipping the channels and there is a religious program talking about being born again.
Must've been a rogue speaker, even WT acknowledges that born again is appropriate in this context.
